the hole size doesnt matter as much as making sure they line up. the gasket is what seals it all.
my greddy elbow came with stainless studs that were too narrow for the trialloy hardware my megan downpipe came with. Even tho the greddy studs are narrower than the holes in the downpipe flange, it all seals up fine. If your dump flange is threaded try to get some nice stainless studs. if they arent just get stainless bolts. and obviously nuts/flatwashers/lockwashers.
you might want to get a crows foot and a long extention to tighten the downpipe hardware, it was the only way i could tighten up the nut under the bend of the downpipe satisfactorally... but then again i already have crows feet to use so i didnt explore other options.
