omg this is ****ing retarded..... okay if anyone out there has a paper FSM. can you tell me if there is a "flip out" section in the manual that i am missing. i can find the plug F3 in the fsm i got from Camel. but i cannot find anything to tell me what the pin numbers refer to as far as color of the wire, or what function this pin location is controlling. am i really this stupid, or does the nissan fsm leave alot to be desired? i know honda fsm's have a seperate manual entirely for the electrical system. will a dealer only service manual be more complete than the one they sell over the counter?

god i hate nissan.

oh now come on the service manuals are easy to use. what is this connector for? do you know and why are you asking about it? post the page you have found this F3 on. I could probably tell you what it is if you dont know.

F3 is the power plug located near the ecu in the s14 chassis. it has about 200 hundred wires coming out of it. i have to connect the dash plug wires from the s13 harness to this connector. somehow... but this will leave about a million wires unsolved. what do i do with these? will the car be happy without them.

what about the plugs coming from the under the hood fuse box on the ka, they dont match the s13, do i need to use that starter area harness from the KA? hmm...so many questions

when you do an engine swap you need to swap the engine harness and ecu as well. so I am not understanding why you have so many extra wires for the ecu plug.

have you ever put a redtop s13 into an s14 chassis? you gotta rewire mad ****... wipers, wiper amplifier etc. also the smaller harness that connect the starter is a little different.

nope I cant say I have swapped that set-up. guess I would have to own a nissan to do that kinda swap...lol if it hasent come into the dealership for that kinda work I havent done it on nissans. wish I could help ya here but this is a bit beyond me with out the manuals for both cars I couldnt do it.

let me ask you is F3 the ecu plug. there is no fold out diagrams in any of the service manuals after like 92 or 93. you have to find each circuit in its perspective section in the service manual. I dont recall ever seeing a complete ecu plug wiring diag with the color codes on one sheet.

f3 is not the ecu plug, but its right next to it, a little shorter but has at least as many wires. if not more. it connects all the ecu type b.s. and the rest of the engine harness to the chassis... or i should say to the rest of the integrated electronics such as the dash and whatever else.

start picking components from the dash and look at the diagrams for them in the electrical section of the service manual write down the wire color and its terminal location. this will be very time consuming but its the olnly way i think it can be done unless someone on here posts a diag they made when they did it.

lol yeah but that would reuire tracing every wire in the entire car from source all the way to this connector... umm f uck that. ive searched hi and low... sr20.hybrids.jp is the closest ive come but even his f3 pinout was wrong :( bleh...
