Dowel pins between head\block?

Hello I was wondering how many dowel pins the KA24DE uses between the head and the block, I would assume two, but after taking apart one I am currently working on there was only one. Wasn't in the head or the block, nothing fell out either when taking the head off.Thanks for the information

There are 2. However you dont really need them. But if you really want to get a replacement, I couldnt imagine a new one being much more then 3-5 bucks.

You put together few engines like that?Anyways I fabbed one from another dowel\sleve I had with a few tools to fit in.

I have assembeld a few engines like that, I never had any issues. The main purpose is to help you align the head to the block, but when the engine is out on a stand thats not really to hard to do.
