Has anyone here used side mount double core intercoolers off a 300zx? I was thinking it might make a nice sleeper look if you connect them together and it wont compromise the radiators cooling.

You could do that, but if you're only running low boost then a single side mount will also work. The key is to have as little plumbing and restriction as possible. Another option is to weld the to coolers together for one thick core. Or take a single core, weld it up and make a water/air ic system.

i was wanting to run a single pipe connecting them to each other under the bumper cover so i can keep a sleeper look. Its not that i want to do it cheaply i want to keep it all hidden...

If you do go this route, connect the ICs in parallel, not in series. This will minimize the pressure drop.
