I'm getting no spark from my s14 SR and a friend said that it is probably caused by having the coilpacks grounded to the intake manifold manifold along with the other two grounds that go there instead of the back of the head. Its my mistake, I forgot that it should go there. I'm back at school now and havent had the chance to try it yet. I'm just curious if anyone else has any experience in this "double grounding" stuff

-Thanks

Are you talking about the ground screws that hold the coilpacks down or the wiring ? If the ground screws; thats where I ground mine.

Grounding to the back of the head or the intake mani shouldn't make a difference. I would go through and check for continuity along the power wires feeding your coil packs.

You can turn the car to "on" and take a test light to the coil pack subharness plug and test the power feed pin. The power pin should be the one pin by itself.

If you have power there, then you need to make sure your ignitor chip is working properly or you have continuity to the ECU from the coils.

Make sure to check your wiring going to the coilpacks, and from the ECU, to the ignitor. Are you using a Q45 or SR ignitor?
