Here is the e-mail I got from the guy who can get you the ONLY aftermarket kit known for our cars, hit him up they are real nice.I didnt order it because for the price I can have one custom made.

I have a simple solution for you:)These are JDM/ Asian Spec Double Din Dash kits. Theopenings are standard Double Din. If you want to putin a single din just fill in the rest with a singledin pocket.

The Qty of these double din kits are limited as A33Cefiro's stopped production. The Double Din Dash Kitis U$175 shipped. Please paypal to [email protected]

If you like to order the I30 Double Din Dash Kits, they would be available in 5-7 business days (afteryour paypal funds are cleared).

see pix for your reference:Lighter color for I35, and darker color for I30. Theyare 95% close to the stock woodgrain color.

The Darker one is for I30, and lighter one's are forI35. They are NOT a perfect match for the woodtrim inyour vehicle.. but most buyers think it's close enoughdue to the fact that there are no non-woodtrim dashkits available.

My paypal address is [email protected] paypal U$175 and put the following in thePaypal msg body:

Full NameShip to addressItem(s) OrderedContact phone number & email (Very Important)

Please specify year of your car I30 or I35

This will be shipped to you via USPS Priority SVC withtracking confirmation (Or Int'l Prioirty Service w/Tracking) after your paypal funds arecleared.

Thank you

Best Regards,

$175 for a dash kit? I used to make custom ones (not for i35 just in general) for $150. Looks like you might be able to make a sentra or a maxima kit fit with a lot of work (better than building from scratch).

thats why i didnt but it, it looks nice because it has a matching trim for the dash but i could have one custom made from fiberglass and redo my whole center console for the same price and that would be even more sick.

I'd rather buy an $18 single DIN kit from ebay and rig it to squease in my stereo and nav controls. When the install kit costs more than the stereo itself there's a problem - custom made or not.

Any maxima kit you get will be to small and there will be a gap. Which looks like ****, imo. But since my drunkass roommate decided mess with my radio when i wasnt around i now have that in my car because he broke the fiberglass one that i made . But the one they are talking about ^^ is from a nissan cefrio. It looks exactly like your dash, it not only the radio trim but the hazard lights, vents etc. It looks really nice and you can order them from parts suppliers in australia.

good luck

if your head unit costs less than 200 then you need a new one cheap head units are exactly that CHEAP. the cefiro dash kit keeps the stock look of your car, it looks great, personally being in the car audio business i would rather fabricate a nice fiberglass dash. If you cant do that then the dash kit is def worth the $180.

It doesn't need to do anything other than play CDs. Its also my understanding that pretty much anthing is better than the Clarion/Bose stock headunit. I have a JVC unit that sounded pretty damn good in my 92 Lexus with Bose, so I imagine with Bose speakers that are 10 years newer it should sound even better.

true, however a nice pioneer premier would give you so much more sound tuning capability you would be blown away how you could make your stereo sound. also you pay for what you get. Im just not a big fan of these fly-by-night companies. I would rather spend an extra 200 and get a real quality unit that has built in eq's with crossovers, multiple rca outs, ipod compadibilty, etc. I am a wholesaler if anyone needs anything......

I ordered this last Friday from autotoys.com. When I checked status Monday it said "processed" but no shipping info. I finally got a hold of them today and they said it wouldn't ship for 15 days. Anybody else have this delay? Has anybody actually received this part yet?
