I like the look of a double din unit. Personally I haven't seen a flip out in action on a Z so I don't know what to think about it.Blacklionxx wrote:yea bro its a single din. its fits right in. um i don't have pics right now, as u can see my old 300z (the green one) i had it in there until it got wrecked.. so i pulled my whole system. now i have me new TT. but im currently re-fiber glassing everything, which is a *****, so i currently don't have any of my stuff installed. but will post pics when im done. are u just a huge fan of a double din or u just don't like flip screens?
I'd be on that like a fly on soda, but I'm still saving up!! Best of luck with your sale bro-- I'll ask around among my friends to see if I can get you a sale, have a picture?JDMZ32 wrote:hey, i see this as my call to advertise! if anyone's interested i have a flip-out monitor made by LM that i'm willing to sell. 7", DVD, MP3, CD, Radio, you know, all that. non touch screen. it'll come with everything needed for the install, including two pieces i had to buy separately for the Z specifically (one is something to do with the radio). i'm not very intelligent with the audio names, as you can see.
let me know if you guys are interested!
o, i bought it from a guy used. i never installed it, but i know it works and everything because i saw it in operation in his car before it was uninstalled.
on a scale of 1-5 i'd give it a 3 or 3.5 for its condition.
come on, help out a po' college kid and fellow Z32 enthusiast!
I tried to search for a double din sorround adapter, but can't seem to find it... what is this 'real speed' that you're talking about?ArticDragon192 wrote:For double din you're gonna need to trim the center console area to allow for double din and then buy a new surround for it, such as the Real Speed one, or have one custom made.
