seriously dude, you couldn't have even tried to find this on your own before posting... simply going to ebay and putting in ALtima dash kit will get you a double din dash kit... now what this forum IS good for is explaining the difference between the 4 dash kits that are currently available! i.e. keeping factory texture, manual vs auto climate controls, etc!

Ok I did use ebay and the only thing that came up did not look like a double din, I did use the search and everything that came up was from way earlier this year, and none of them looked any good, and i read alot of people sayin that you'd have to cut the middle bracket out to make it fit, or that another was too wide, and another said that the texture looked completely off. So i asked again to see if i missed something, or maybe somehting new was out. Now i know i didnt make myself clear in the first post, but usually when i make a long post like this people dont even bother too read. but thanks anyways.

OK, here's the deal..

there are a number of Nav kit out... aftermarket and OEM

the OEM kit that fits an aftermarket nav/double din unit is ONLY for the manual climate control, i.e. the NON-Premium package cars! If you have the auto climate controls, this dash kit will not work for you!

The other OEM kit is for the factory Navigation unit WITH the auto climate controls... but this one is too wide, and there will be a gap on each side of the unit... look at this guy's unit... http://forums.altimas.org/zero...ashup

you can see the gap on the sides of his pioneer unit... looks pretty bad IMO, so I wouldn't go this route.

the other options out there are the aftermarket kits... they come in two different styles... this one

http://www.installer.com/item/...1642B

and this one

http://www.installer.com/item/...-7423

the texture on these will NOT look like and feel like OEM, but the color will match....

Maybe something about dash kits could be included in apple's sticky back in the audio / video section since this Q gets asked regularly

It's in there under installation.

Has a brief description on the differences and options available. Next time I update I'll include some more links to the threads that cover this info as well.

So it doesn't need to all be typed out again, click the FAQ in my signature. Then click installation. In that section Doc has a write-up with pics to show how to install a unit.

Or, scroll over the "tech pages" link at the top of this page, and click "Nissan Technical". From there, click Altima and select the "Coupe: Pioneer AVIC-D3 Install". This will lead to the same article (instructions are the same for sedan/coupe).
