Double din audio - dash kit needed?

For those of you who have an aftermarket double din stereo installed... did you need the dash trim kit from Versaspeed.com, or did your stereos just fit without significant gaps?

Nope, I got the Kenwood DPX 302, and it fit perfect with the supplied mounting frame.

I'm guessing since its an "S" he doesn't have those to begin with.

That stereo looks really nice. I think that's the one I was thinking of getting before realizing I'd be negating my steering wheel controls.

sorry for the poor quality (camera phone). The kit that came with the screen actually fits right up against the dash on the left side, the unit just sticks out a bit and that's why it appears as thought there is a gap. It's obviously not the best screen on the market, but a buddy of mine wasn't using it and sold it to me for $200.
