Sup folks?

I'm getting ready to make the biggest purchace for my car to date...

Wheels :rockon

Double check my numbers please, I'd like to make sure I read the wheel faq right.

I've got a 1998 240sx SE

My stock alloy wheels = 16" x 6.5inoffset = +40mmhub bore 66.06mmbolt pattern = 5 x 114.3lug size = 12mm x 1.25

Are these the only measurements I NEED to know to buy new wheels? or are there any more?

The wheels I'm contemplating have the same offset & measurments as above except,

17" diameter7" widehub bore <-- how important is this?lug size <-- universal or need to know?

when the numbers were crunched through the Offset calculator located at.....

http://toy4two.home.mindspring.com/offset.html

I got, that there would be 6mm less space between the wheel and the strut housing. The wheel edge would also stick out 6mm more than before. i dont think that this change is sugnificant enough to matter, but what do you all think that are more experienced with wheel instalation?

Am I gonna be kosher or what?

Thanks alot for any imput

I don't think the hub bore is important, and the lug size is important is you are getting new lug nuts to go with the new wheels.

If you match the offset and bolt pattern you should be good. I have 17's too and you should be using 215-45-17 tires, taller and you may rub the strut plate where the bottom of the spring rests.
