DOT Windshield and Headlights?

Hey guys,it's been awhile since the last time I posted on here so hey again.

Anyway, I'll finally be getting my Skyline by the end of the month, but, as expected, things are a little bumpier than I had expected. I'm going to need to get DOT (British Columbia, Canada) approved headlights and a windshield in order to pass the provincial inspection, among other things.

Does have any idea where I can get these parts. I have a couple glass shops in town looking into getting the windshield (I live in a city called Prince George), but haven't really been able to located headlights, aside from the HID kit at the skyline shop (http://www.theskylineshop.com/), and it's close to $700. Of course, I wouldn't mind putting that in there, but I'd like to know what my other options are.

The supplier doesn't have to be in Canada, so if you have ANY information, please pass it on.

In BC you would need the N1 headlight that is what a friend of mine in calgary told me he has to do to his R32's and yeah all the glass is Dot approved.

THey are a factory Nissan Part you can get them in online at like place such as RHDjapan or and skyline parts store

dot? well i dunno but there are some websites like under gogle just type in sky windsheild and it should come up cas thats wat my friend got so yea

It says DOT on the Glass.

Apparently, according to my mechanic friend, it has to have DOT and then a 4 digit number behind it. Do they have that?

Alright, just to update you guys since I've been pulling my hair out about this.

I've obviously figured out that the windshield shouldn't be a problem, and I've talked to some people in the lower mainland of BC who can get me the windshield if need be.

As for the headlights... So far the only "for sure" answer I've gotten from a skyline specialty shop also located in Vancouver. Apparently they are manufacturing their own DOT approved headlights for R32s - no sure price yet though and not too sure how many they will be getting. I've got my name on a set (I hope) but they won't be available until apr-may.

Anyone else know of any other options? I was thinking I could put some DOT approved headlights from another vehicle if they fit - 300zx maybe? Anyone know if other headlights from a vehicle manufactured in NA?

Also, is there DOT approved R33 headlights since those vehicles are legal in the States (Canada follows the US DOT rules)? This would still require some modification I'm sure, just wondering what my options are.

I'm from Prince George and i was checking out your car near 1st a little while agoe and saw that it had DOT headlights on not from a skyline and side marker lights and a single marker light in the rear and i was wondering what model your headlights were from and if you only need some sorta DOT light on the back as a brake light. I blew my clutch out a little while agoe and wanna make my car legal before or durring the winter mod season. It's the black HCR 32 Skyline with 18" chrome rims "running" arround town, from the Hart.
