I am looking to go from 80 AMP to 110 or better, I am running dual fans and HID head lights.anything close in the design and configuration as far as the alternator mechanically functioning or at least coming close to it, I an pretty good at fabricating but closer the fit the better, I can just find a plug at the local junk yard .................................THANKS FOR ANY IDEAS

By the way, if any one is looking for a longer throttle cable for say like a S13 with the RB swap and greedy intake > stock cable is to short (2' 8" from fire wall to mounting point) and the one I found at the junk yard on a 91 sentra is 5' 4" making it 2' 8" longer> plenty or length to run it any way ya want to

Im not sure of the amperage rating, but I am currently using a KADE alternator. You have to grind down the dog ear tab on it, but everything lines up. The grinding of hte tab is to recess the bolt head so it doesnt interfere with the belt.

Like I said, not sure of the amp rating, but it may give you some ideas on other alternators that may work.

Try retrofitting an early 90s Quest 110a alternator. I've done this on my KA and believe I've read of people doing the same on the RB. You'll probably have to bore some of the bolt holes out and maybe adjust the mounting bracket.

I'm not shure how different the mounting is on a 25 as compaired to a 20, but I didn't need to mod the adjuster bracket to put a Quest alternator on. I did need to grind on the large bushing that the bottom bolt goes through, but it didn't require much.
