Well, the general shape is close enough to stock that it might actually work. I do think the pieces on the shoulder are a little excessive and not aesthetically pleasing. Definitely makes the OEM one look subtle, and we know that it does work aerodynamically.maxnix wrote:Best illustration when there is just too much black. Can't see a thing.
+1. Its cool, if its a show car. I know this guy who does tuner car shows out here in San Diego, and that Q looks like something that can be in the show. Its cool because there are many cars and they don't have to be brand spank'n new cars, just creative.NightRiderQ45 wrote:If you are happy, that's all that matters...but I don't like it at all.
Not Stillen, i dont think they had a 3 piece... a friend of mine had a stillen spoiler that did drape over the top of the quarters though..\Jamesqship96 wrote:I wonder if that is an original Stillen spoiler? Years ago they marketed a 3 piece spoiler that looked like that
I like your stance on the subject matter. Its to bad its not a show car. I was at a car show and they had a 1997 Q45 luxed out. I mean dropped with curtains bar in the back, black on black. I was with a girl and she saw the car and said, Yeah thats you. Two years later I am pushing a Cute45 (Q45)jamesmost wrote:OK here we go:I dont know if i like it either. Although it is growing on me.It seems to be liked in the urban setting. It is on with 3M tape, and thus not for ever.Origional spoiler in my garage , boxed up.Has no 3rd brake light.Covers key hole (glad i just replaced trunk lock solenoid.)It does not extend past the bumper. It does seem to have a positive aerodynamic effect. It is lighter then the stock spoiler. The side skirts are actually cool.My Wife has not noticed it yet.My dad asked if i needed more space to place a Beer ??My 7 yr old thinks it is cool.No it is not a show car.Not sure how long it will be on the car, but it did cost me $300 to paint and mount, so maybe a year so i can amortize the cost to under $1.00 a day.James

CHMBL ????maxnix wrote:Higher resolution does help the image.
Camera phones are phones, not real cameras.
Still kind of ho hum for me. OEM looks elegant in comparison.
No CHMBL in spoiler? That would be a no go killer for me.
i have a CHMBL - om my T spoiler that is in my garageMinisterofDOOM wrote:Yeah, that kind of puts a damper on it for us t guys. Can't drive without a CHMSL (not that I'd want to if I could with all the morons on the road).
yeah, I prefer the more appropriate original Brake Lihgt as opposed to the later Stop Light as one is not always coming to a stop when one applies the brakes.MinisterofDOOM wrote:Center high mount brake light.
