Doors wont lock

So basically after spending all my summer working on my Z to get it back on the road i found out after its test drive that the doors wont lock with the remote. The car did have a battery in for a good 3 months or so, so i dont know if its because the un-paired with the car or its another issue... Its there a way to reprogram the keyless remotes to work again?
I just wanna drive my Z but i cant knowing that i cant leave my car anywhere! ( Lots of car-thieves where i live ). So yeah, any help will be appreciated!

Are you talking about an aftermarket alarm/keyless entry system? If so then yes there should be a way to reprogram it. Or are you talking about the door lock switch inside the car isn't working?
