Most of the guys thought it was too

If you're going to do it, make sure you get it done right. Also, you might look into loosing some door weight to make everything a little easier.

The coupe doors are heavy as hell.

There's a guy on another forum that did it to his car... I remember reading a lot of negative responses.... but I'll try finding it again

Welcome to NICO

I'm not sure why you would want to do that? What is the estimated cost and if done how will that effect the sale price of your vehicle?I assume you have a good job with a fully maxed out 401k and IRA as well as a 6 month cash reserve in the bank prior to starting this mod to your G?You could also save the money until you could afford a brand new G that comes with all new parts, tires, a warranty, a loaner when in for service, etc

Decisions, decisions, decisions

Sean, Joe, Noah,

Please give Telco a Custom Title lol.

I personally think the scissor or lambo style doors are a waste, but that's just my opinion. I would sincerely suggest you look into dropping some weight off of those doors before attempting the conversion.

Telco is right about the resale value. Unless you go all out and make this into a show car, you may find it hard to sell you car later. Customizations have a tendency to reduce resale value.

My dealerships give me free loaners regardless if I'm under warranty or not.
