Door wont open!? Light come on when brake depressed..

I just got a 1998 240sx. I havin some problems. The door wouldnt close and then when it closed it didnt open. Now it wont unlock or open, i have to get in through the other door. If i take it into the shop how are they gunna get it open? Cuz they cant get the panel off with the door close are they gunna have to damage the body? Is this gunna be a costly repair? Also when i depress the brake the dash lights, side turn signals and driver side driving ligt come on... Is the gunna be a pain to repair?
