Hey everyone,

My drivers side door stripping is getting pretty chewed up and ragged (2006 and 170k miles so it happens). But I want to replace it with new. But the issue is that on discountinfinitiparts.com it runs $194. But what appears to be the same for a Nissan Altima is $61 or possible less on Ebay or something. The part number are also very similar:

Infiniti - 80831-EG09A
Nissan - 80831-3Z600

Am I crazy to think the nissan might work, even if I need to add in some small clip holes or ignore some that it may already have?? Please help gang.

It's probably a different size in terms of length, etc...not sure though.

i'm in the same boat and was thinking heading to a junkyard for the parts. not sure about return policy but if the vendor is flexible, it would be a "god-send" if you can confirm the part that will fit. this is pretty similar to the sentra fog lights that fit our car
