Door Switches and Shift Console have lights????? whaaat the

I was just siting through all of your guys picturesand I came across another "problem" on this aparent lemon qx4 I bought lol

My door switch for the windows and locks and such, and my center console shifter (D/NR/1/2) doesnt light up at all with the car on or off, lights on or off.

I was a little ticked lol, I dont need the led's and such like you guys have, but some light there especially in the switchpacks would be EXTREEMLY helpful

Im trying to read the electrical diagrams but I have no idea how to pinpouint a problem or even how to find which fuse they all work on...

Would love some help

Your dimmer switch is at maximum, right? You might not be able to see the lights during the day, they're pretty dim.

Does your glove box and ashtray light work? What about hazard/defroster switches, do they light up?

ya dimmer at max, my dash lights and temp lights are all bright.

I dont know about the glove box light I'll check at break time, but my hazard and defrost defenetely work, but I dont believe the hazard light illuminates red if its supposed to??

Hazard switch should illuminate red, defroster white. You probably have a dead bulb in your hazard switch if it doesn't illuminate and the defroster does.

It's a bit strange that your window switch packs don't illuminate since those use surface mounted LEDs which should not burn out as incandescents may have considering the age of your vehicle. I'll try to see if there's a fuse which controls illumination, but that's probably not the cause since your instrument cluster lights up.
