Door speakers

I've got a 2008 Rogue SL AWD with the Premium package and the other day I was washing my car with the radio on and it sounded like only bass was coming out of the door speakers with the mid and highs from the dashboard speakers. Is that right? I feel stupid for never noticing this in the 2 years I've had the car and this is the first time I noticed. with the doors closed, the music sounds normal but when I had the doors open it sounded like only bass

I don't have the Bose system so I can't say for sure, but it's probably the way the 6-speaker system is configured. However I'm sure someone with the Bose system can help you out with this.

I don't have bose but you said it right. Because the high (tweeters) located near windshield that's why with doors open you can hear only bass. If tweeters would be located in front doors let's say in mirror covers or near front speakers you would hear the full sound.
