I just bought a 2013 jx35 and my drivers door sill lights up when I open the door but the passenger door sill light doesnt go on is it suppose to light up, is so does anyone know how to fiv this or do i have to take it into the dealer

Might be a loose or rusted wire, etc. Pull up the sill and take a look. Worst case, take a look at the schematics available on this stie and see if you can troubleshoot.

Most of those sill lights are Nissan/Infiniti OE accessories and not factory, installed either at the port of entry prior to delivery or by the dealer prior to sale. If so, it will be wired into the accessory pre-wire connectors underneath the kick-panel trim. That will be the most likely spot for an open circuit. The quality of the work will depend on who installed it, and I've seen some pretty sloppy stuff over the years. Chances are it will simply be a bad splice or broken wire.
