how do you take off the door in a 91 fastback??? i looked and i saw that the hinge is like welded to the door and to the body of the car. where it's welded to the body there's two bolts in each hinge. can you take it off without breaking the welds???:spam

for this job i have to replace the door, rocker panel, rear glass, all interior panels, and possibly the quarter panel. i'm thinkin the hardest thing will be the rocker panel.

I would think the quarterpanel would be rough too. Don't you have to cut out the old quarter panel and weld in a new one since it's a unibody?

Yeah...what he said.

Are you sure this car is salvageable? Have you done body work before?

Edit: Not to pee on your cheerios, or anything, but you're going to be doing a lot of cutting and welding. I think the door is the least of your problems. You really want to make sure the vehicle is structurally sound when you're done. Remember, this is unibody construction.

i know i'm in a lil over my head but it's either fix it myself and pay about 500 or take it to the shop and pay like 2,000-2,500.

well i decided i'm probably going to just take it somewhere and have it pulled. i had somebody look at it today and they said that it wasn't as bad as i had originally thought. :spam
