does anyone have a writeup on how to do this? i bought a set of clean hatch black power doors for the vert but the doors seem to sag about a quarter of an inch so it is sraping the rocker panels when you close the doors. I have been searching but have found nothing that will help me. since vert doors are so damn heavy i know im not the only guy/girls with this problem can you guys help a brotha out

Should be able to buy new latch that is attached to the door sill. Think it was like $15 or so from dealer.

no no no i gues i worded it wrong the actual hinges that bolt on to the car they have pins+bushings that keep the door from sagging but they are effed so i need new ones but i want to know if anyon has replaced and written a how to on it.

Ah. Never heard of anyone replacing the hinges/pins.

Replacing the bushings isn't too bad. Obviously you've done the biggest portion, which is remove the doors and the pins. Popping the pins out is a drift and a hammer away.

You'll need a fairly long drift as well as a wedge. I usually soak the hinges in penetrating oil and then use the wedge to seperate the bushing from the hinge by wedging under the lip of the bushing. Then you can use the drift to either push it out by the lip or from the inside of the hinge. The second bushing of the hing is easiest to attack from inside the hinge.

Sorry I don't have any pictures to give you.

But remember to order new pins and bushings to get everything back to being snug and tight.

thanks man, where could i find these pins a dn bushings i have been working all week so i have little time to mess with my vert now but my guess would be the dealer? or maybe napa?
