You can use either coupe or hatch panels. The thread on how to do it is linked in the FAQ.

How much those panels usually run in junkyard or on eBay?

Should be much more than $50 for a set of them or so, unless they are perfect and seller is high priced. Just find someone parting out a car in Classifieds.

Mint power door panels have a market value of around $100 shipped for the pair. Junkyard ones go for about $25-$60 for the pair.

It's easier and cheaper to find manual door panels, but I believe you have to cut the handle hole bigger and plug the window crank holes to use those.

Is everyone overlooking the obvious here? I hate to be the bearer of bad news but just replacing the panels will not eliminate that ugly "post". To do that you'll either need to do a lot of cutting/grinding OR replace the entire doors themselves.

My first post in the thread said "the thread on how to do it is linked in the FAQ."
