i know how to take the door panels off in my 1972 510, but i want to know the easiest way to take the pins out of the window crank. it seems i do more damage then good when taking them off. is there a trick? or does every one struggle ?

there is a tool but I have no idea what its called. I think the best hope is a little patience and some needle nose pliers. Once you get one off the rest kind of take them selves off.

Any auto parts store will have the tool you need. It is a "U" shaped piece that you push the pin off with. I got mine at Harbor Freight since the quality doesn't matter.
