My drivers side door panel has cracked right where you put your arm out the window. Cannot find a panel in good shape and recovering would be a pain. Got an idea will do this and post picks to see what folks think. Like a lot of high wear areas, put a plastic panel on it. Went to junk yard grabbed 2 A pillar plastic panels that are real close to the size and shape less than 5 bucks. Going to take a dremel and cut about 8 in long piece bend to fit and use as arm rest cover so to speak on top of door panel. Use 3m double side tape to attach so if it looks ghetto I can take it off. But basically use it like the kick panels at bottom of door to neaten it up and have a hard spot to rest arm that does not tear up vinyl. Will try and see if I can make it snug and beveled so it looks neat and clean. Color match was perfect from 93 maxima, almost fits stock, a little playing and it will be like a arm guard to cover tear in top of door panel but look like a factory add on accessory, I HOPE. I hope to cut and fit so it is low profile and snug. I love playing with the D21 and making it mine.

Arm rests look new it is on top of the door panel by window where i hang out my arm like a redneck LOL vinyl has split and worn. After messing with the plastic I got a small piece of black padding like wet suit cut and stuck it there to see what it looks like, also adding some comfort. May or may not leave it there, but thanks for the offer of the arm rests.
