I'm having some difficulty removing the driver side door panel. There are 4 phillips head screws at the bottom of the panel that I've backed out. On both sides of the panel running up the door toward the window several clips were disengaged. The top lip of the panel that sits in the window well is off the lip. There seems to be something in the middle of the panel that is still binding. Are there additional clips? Or is this a matter of wiggling the panel until it unseats? Does the cosmetic cup that covers the interior door release/lock come off in someway? If so, how?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. The info I found on this forum has been outstanding.

ThanksJeff

Screw under the mirror conrol, and one under the base of the window control panel. Both panels pry out. Carefully.

The $5 CDs really are a good idea.

Defiant,

Door panel came off with no problem. Now that I have it off, the door lock works fine manual and remotely. I'm hesitant to put it back together and recreate the original problem (closed door in the locked position unable to open without a jimmy stick). Three questions:

1)Where do I get the CD's for door or manual.

2)Any advise on the door lock mechanism, cylinder removal, etc.

3) I read on FuzzyCat, that the regulator for the window (very slow) should be replaced vs the window motor. Where is the reg located and who to order through?

Thanks again for your help!
