1st it started off by the door not locking. Pulled the door panel off and everything looked in tact and nothing seems to be broke. All the rods were in-tact and moved just fine, but the door would not lock even after manually using the key. The only way to lock it was to hit the lock / unlock button on the driver side to make the triggers jump back and forth.... eventually after about 7 or 8 hits, it would lock...Finally after getting it to lock is stayed locked for about 2 weeks when i forgot about it and hit the unlock switch and unlocked the door.... DOH.. Slap in the face..!!! Opened the door to grab something and went to shut the door and now it WONT even shut... Seems the latch on the door wont latch to the U peice on the inside of the door.. I slam the door shut and it bounces off the car and wont latch...Am i screwed now... do i need a new door or can i just replace that latch thingy on the door cause i see 3 screws on there which makes me assume that the piece is replaceable....

What are my options here..?? (by the way its the pass side)..

Door panel off again and back inside. Whatever had been out of adjustment should be more obvious now. How long since the locks were lubed?

That might be a good first place to start. Spray-can lithium grease, not too much of it.
