door lock

i notice today im missin the lock of my passanger side door does anyone how 2 take it out so i can swap from 1 car 2 my other Z cause ive tried but its hell any help guys to get it out?

nah im just playin if you really want to take your lock off the easiest way to do that is to remove the whole door handle from the door its self witch takes alot of time, your going to need a flashlight a socket wrench extenders for the socket wrench and lots of paitence. as soon as i find the pics i got from when i took my handles off ill post it in detail. just tell me how much detail you need.

it is a pain in the butt, just take your time and you'll be fine,a dn yeah just pull the handle assy out, then you can replace the lock cylinder

sorry i took so long to respond, i cant find my pictures of what everything looks like when i took my doorhandles off but if you use the socket wrench and the extenders there should be a hole that it will fit in to reach the first bolt then after you remove the door panel you can reach the other bolt with a normal wrench. i think the bolts are 10mm but dont quote me on that. i havent messed with my door handles for months. but once you get the door handles off, the lock is held in by a clip that can be removed with needle nose pliers. if you still need the pictures i think my freind has my thumb drive that has the pictures of the door handles on there. but i dont know how to post pictures on here so if you can tell me that would be great.
