hello fellow members.

I have a 2004 infiniti i35 and I was wondering if I can program the door locking/unlocking sequence.

what I mean is: when I unlock the door using the remote, it unlocks the driver's door first, then on the second button press, it unlocks the rest of the doors.

I was wondering if there is any hidden procedure to allow all doors to be unlocked on the first button press (without having to press the button 2 times).

or if there is any way to change it through the OBDII port.

thanks

Hi and welcome to NICO Club!

I think you'd need a 'consult II' to interface with the 'smart entrance control unit' located on the drivers side under the dash. "Select Unlock Mode" can be turned on and off. I think that might affect the auto locking when your car is rolling, but I'm not sure. I don't think it does what you're hoping to change.

All computers can be re-programmed... in theory.

Here's a link to the FSM chapter. Look around page 280, 287 and beyond.
