When I shut the pass side front door, all the locks lock in the car. Any ideas?

What happens if you lock and then unlock using the passenger front door thumb latch while the door is ajar?

If I unlock all locks at the driver door button, I have to do it like 3 times, they keep locking.
Something is wrong.

My 95 started doing this, too. The last time I did it, I held the button for a second and it didn't re-lock.

Smartest " backup " thing you can do is get a " break-away " key separator AND keep a second key on the part you retain , 'cause my J30 goes wonky at times . Like when I get out , w/car running to get mailbox or whatever - it may lock 'all four' ( see I don't always keep door open ) OR I'm with some one, they don't know this , they can lock us all out .
Hidden key box is Plan-B backup .......But I gotta get down ON THE GROUND to reach it !!!!!!!!!

Also the break away feature allows me to leave car running , only ign key there , and with locked doors I won't need such heavy attention , on a 29 year old car ....LOL

Sobering reminder there. I use a break away for everything but the ignition key. But those little thin key (wallet key?) would be a good addition.

Unplug the battery. Reprogram your fob. Your battery is dieing on your fob. I had the same issue. Can't say it will resolve your issue but it resolved mine.

I have had this problem ever since I have owned my Q45. First time I found out about it I was fueling up in rural Mississippi. I started car to check my transmission oil level. When I closed the car door all locked while running at the pumps. I had to get a hammer from the clerk and break the small triangle back side window. When I got home the glass man said it was the most expensive window on the car. He had to order from Japan. He told me next time to just break a door window instead. Cheaper. Since then i always roll the window down or take my key with me. Lesson learned. LOL

Ya , a '93 J30 does the same thing , seems rain ,humidity , is a real factor . I have just let it fix itself :rotflmao Seems to like dry out , and I don't have to pay anyone - I just give it Shell Premium -it's happy.

You might want to check the signal from your driver's door lock cylinder, especially if your problem gets worse in damp/wet conditions. Falsing door cylinders can cause all sorts of misbehavior, including door lock issues.

No magic wand, but you can try snipping the ground wire for the cylinder switch and see if the locks stop misbehaving. If they do, then at least you know where the problem is. :yesnod

One other thing that I forgot to mention is that when I press the FOB door open, it opens and locks. Press again Open and locks. Point the FOB away from car and it may unlock. Eventually pressing enough will stay unlocked. Does this 90% of the time. Problem has been ongoing. I just live with it.

I'd be questioning your LAN at this point. The FSM has a few diagnostics, but it's still rudimentary. If I had to guess I'd say it's one of the modules, either the door control amp (I had one fail on my '94), or the wireless interface module in the trunk under the speaker deck. I had that also fail on the '94. It was a parasitic drain, and you could maybe discern this with an IR thermogun if you are very patient.
I think it's at least possible that a parasitic drain is causing you some charging system grief as well. It won't be enough to flatten your battery overnight, but.....

another general troubleshooting tip for parasitic drains is to remove fuses one at a time (key OFF), and use a multimeter set to the low Amps scale inline where the fuse was.
you mat have to manually close the driver door switch when you get to that fuse.
