Door Lock beep

Hi,I recently purchased a 04 Murano.I was wondering if the door should beep when I lock/open it using my remote key.

When I open there is no indication like turn lights flashing.When I close the turn lights flash, but no beep.

I have seen other Murano's which beep when locked.

Is there a setting I can change ?or is the beep thing gone bad?orIt works the way it works?

Does your Murano have Navigation? IF NOT....then the answer to your question might be on the back of your key fob. You can change the setting by pressing the buttons on your key fob in a specific manner, I know for sure it tells you in the owners manual. If you have navigation, there is a setting on your Nav. screen under "settings" to change it. Let me know if this helps!
