I am trying to find where the wires are supposed to lead from my door lock actuator (I think that's what it is) The device is located behind the door panel. I think it was blue in color, has a "plunger mechanism" on one end, two wires lead from it (blue & green). The wires on mine lead toward the front of the door, through the hole where the wire bundle is (they are not wrapped in the bundle). They go into the interior and stop where someone cut them off. I know there was an alarm previously installed then taken back out.

Anyone know where these blue & green wires are supposed to go? I could not figure it out by looking at my FSM. When I turn the key in my driver door, it still unlocks the other door.

i think they are power wires- like positive/negative. I wasted 30 bucks buying new actuators for my XE and i found out they were already installed in my door! Anyway...i installed the remote keyless entry myself and hooked up the blue and green wires to the relay module i bought. The module sends electrical pulses to the actuator, determined by the brain of my alarm. Im pretty sure about this, but i could be wrong because you said your passenger door unlocks along w/ the driver door, and i have no idea how that can happen when the actuator wires are unattached to anything

Actuators are basically an electric motor the plunger is on a geared track. The motor moves one direction to lock the door, and the reverses to unlock. The thing is then to power the actuator to work you need (2) relays wired for reversing polarity or internal relay setup inside of an alarm brain or central locking unit. Are you refering to the S-13 doorlocks? is it and SE model? The locking system on the S-13 has no external electric switches to lock the doors usually. to lock them you push the lever on the drivers door, or use the key in either door. does this work in your car? If so then it sounds like who ever put your alarm in (and removed it ) didn't know what thery were doing, and added an extra actuator that was not neccesssary, since both doors already have the factory ones installed. if you need help with an alarm or keyless entry install, I can provide some help with wiring colors and locations. If you think it's too complicated. Take it somewhere for professional help llike Best Buy, or another Car Stereo and Security specialist. Ask for MECP certified installations, preferably someone who has at least the basic certification, not just "X" years of experience. good luck :)
