door light help

one of my bros was getting into my car and he banged it pretty hard, now when i open the doors the light above my head and the door lights dont turn on automatically anymore,
can it be fixed by me or should i take it in to get fixed

I would check the 3 way toggle switch for starters...

i already checked the switch thing
and he is in crutches from a broken ankle so while getting in he banged something on the door, and now the lights dont turn on automatically anymore

Thats weird. I wonder if somehow they are wired in series? Like if he popped out the bulb in the one door the rest go out?
