Door latch compatibility

Do convertible door latches, and hatch/coupe door latches all interchange with each other?

Pass. door latch broke on my 94 convertible, and all of the ones off eBay seem to fit all of them.. just want to make sure of this.

Bump for info. My 91 hatch drivers latch wont allow me to unlock door. Having the same question

I ordered a latch for my 'vert, it just came in today. I'll let you know what happens...

Update:

The latch from my 94 convertible s13 was replaced from a '90 hatch. Works flawlessly, so this means that any latch is compatible with any body style. Nice. :)
