Door help

Ok My door is not shut all the way and i cant figure out why or how to fix it but my door ajar light is on all the time its on the driver side and its a 93 hatch anyone have any ideas what the problem could be. Its only off by about a hair when you look down the side of the car i would post a pic but hel if I know or figure it out right now.

Sounds like the plastic is gone from the pin on the door frame.
