I parked my Rogue in no mans land and I still got hit by a shopping cart and put a small dent on right rear door. The best way to prevent dents is not to drive the car and leave it in the garage.

Sorry to hear about it - it always sucks when it is someone else's carelessness that causes the damage. It's a lot easier to take when it is your mistake.

I'd personally recommend not fixing it right away because many PDR people charge per panel so you're better off waiting until you have a couple more on that panel.

Of course I park in no man's land and get yelled at. :inoutgay:

When possible, if there is an open space next to a curb, I try to park as close as I can get to it. Either on the left or right, than instead of the open scary area of the parking lot. Of course I scuffed up my tires riding a few curbs but better than a dent I feel. Hug the curb, luv da curb! :naughty:

The car next to you really has to be careless or an obvious douchebag to dent your car in this case ( In most situations, their door should not even be able to reach your doors). I feel there is more than enough space.

Also sometimes, I MIGHT park next to an expensive car. I am still in the air if these drivers care about there vehicle and are careful or they so rich they don't give a damn and open widely. Gamble :gotme I tend to think they careful though.

I have really minimized the dents in parking lots this way for the past couple of years. :woot:

When I am stuck in the middle of cars, I just hope for the best. In my opinion, most people have been careful when around my vehicle. I have been lucky. I do have RARE paint nicks but not dents (from other doors). Like one or two really tiny ones. Not really anything considering the years.

Parked against curb as far as i could way out passed outer field, and the @#$!* still got me.

A friend of mine referred me to what appeared to be a dump, and ended up performing miracle work for 40 dollars.

I no longer have the ding.

Sorry, i was so pissed i didnt even want to look at it. Tried taking a picture of the after, and all you can see is the reflection of the ground so thought it was kind of pointless.

Im just glad its fixed.

Yep, trade it in. That's what I just did! Took it to the local stealership's body shop, then went and saw a salesman who put me in a shiny new Black Amethyst '12 Rogue SV w/ SL package. Now I have the upgraded surround camera system and the sport mode button. :bigthumb:

Interest on the loan went down, but amount financed was more. What the frack was I thinking? :wtf2:

Well you should get a little better gas milage, this was a purchase decision i made when i decided to get FWD.
Don't let it eat you up. Not unless you live in wild terrain or hostel environments, i think its kind of pointless.
If you do, then. Oh man that sucks!
