Are you referring to the buzzer "chime" which is the single/double beep when you push the i-key request switch on the door handle or the horn "chirp" when you press the lock/unlock buttons on the remote?
If you're referring to the chime you hear outside the vehicle when you press the door handle request switch, there's a warning buzzer located behind your front grille. The service manual (DLK) provides information on how to test/diagnose the warning buzzer. This is the same buzzer that warns you if you leave your keys in the car and try to lock from the outside handle or that chimes when you step out of the car with the key but leave the engine running and shut the door. Most likely cause is fuse may have burned out, buzzer may be defective or there may be loss in continuity of wiring.
If you're referring to the horn chirp you typically hear when you push the lock/unlock buttons on the keyfob, you may have accidentally turned it off. Press and hold both the lock AND unlock buttons on the keyfob for a few seconds until you see your hazards flash and/or you hear the horn chirp. You will toggle between "hazard flash only" or "hazard + horn chirp" mode every time you do this.
