Door actuator question?

When you lock/unlock the doors with the driver's button, and the rear passenger's locking mechanism still moves, does that mean the actuator is broken?

It seems in past postings when the door is still able to be open from the inside, that the remedy is fixing a loose fallen cable which is a cheaper repair than replacing the door actuator.


Just asking before I get a repair. I had to Mcgyver a plastic sheet to jimmy the child-safety locks and now I can at least open from the inside.

My dealership wants nearly $600 to repair my door. I can't open the rear passenger door with the outside handle.
