im looken in to buyen this 300 zx auto, t-tops ,not sure wat year it is but it dont start or make any clicks or **** like that. im posten this maybe u guys now any trick i can try to start it. i like the car and i want it for a project car , so i thought it would make a good project car.

plzz if any one know any this i can try i can do to start it. or how to find out wats wrong.. plzz . ty for ur time.

well if you turn the key and nothering happens first place to look is battery voltage, try jumpstarting the car, if nothing changes check for voltage at the trigger wire for the starter, if you're getting plenty of power and a trigger signal you'll need a new starter, if your not getting trigger signal, it is likely the ignition switch

im not understanding why you would look at an auto z as a project car, unless you plan on swapping the transmission for manual. your not going to get as good performance out of your auto as you would if it was manual. as far as it not starting try hitting the starter with a hammer it worked for a friend of mine

srry for the late repost i been busy at work . 60hrs a week. how much u think a 5 speed swapen on the z would cost? i think iy would be about 1-3k maybe .

Why swap a 5spd...just find a Z32 w/ a 5pd already in it.
