Do you remember the first time you looked through Super Street or Sport Compact car. When you first started learing about cars?. I do my friend Kevins's older brother had a nice '93 Civc I strated talking with him about cars and learned alot. I remember thinking i wanted a '97 Eclipse, green, but not like the one in the fast and the furious. I wanted Intake, exhaust, rims, APC taillights, now I'm changed and I wouldnt sport APCs on my car for 1 million buscks. all I'm saying is dont scare off the children, teach them.as forthe people that have been into cars for 8 years and have the lights on their tires, and 20 inch chrome rims on their Civic 4 door. Give them the cement slippers.

The problem is it is hard to tell the difference some times between the newbs and the vetran idiots. You have a point tho. People tend to rip into the newbies a little hard sometimes, but it's kinda like venting. I too had no taste and had no knowlege of cars at all. I still have very little knowlege of cars, but at least my tastes have gotten better. Guidance may help some of them see the error of their ways, but a few flames can sometimes smack some sense into them.

hmm well i think everyone learns on their own. i man im pretty sure about 50 million kids worlwide saw the fast and the furious and developed a taste for streetracing. and since media doesnt really portray the real issues behind streetracing, the youth are usually misguided into thinking a body kit high spoiler,clear lights, accesories, stickers, a loud exaust and nos is all they need in their cars. im pretty sure that everyone here was rice minded when they first got ino the import racing scene. personally i never knew about nos until i watched fast and the furious. i asked my cousins about it and then i found out how it worked and what it was. then i saw one of my homeyz destroy a beautiful 1990 toyota camry by hooking up a 50 shot nitrous kit to it. i guess everyone learns their way around things once they grow older.
