Hey guys, i know you'll all probably tell me to search and i have but i dont know which one ppl are talking about so ill ask for the answer that i need. I got some FN01RC's from a friend and he said they were 17x8 but i dont think they are they look to skinny probably 17x7 and i also don know what the offset is but they sink in a lil more then i would like. Now i did the s14 SE Hub 5 lug conversion in the rear on my s13 so i ordered the rear in 17x9 +35 which everyone recommended. now in the front im still 4 lug and like i said i dont know the offset but if i decide to stay with the 4 lug what offset would i need for 17x8. I only want the 4 lug spec just in case i stay that way but MORE then likely im going to get the front hubs from signal auto to do the 5 lug swap so now..... what offset for 17x8 5x114.3. Like i said above, the posts ive read really never specified whether the offsets were for 4 lug or 5 lug because it seems to me that alot of people are running 4 lug on here so can some one please help me. If it matters at all i will be getting KTS coilovers as soon as my income tax comes in so dont know if you need to know that for any reasons. and oh yeah, need to clear Z Brakes. Thanks guys.

I'm not sure if I quite understand what you're asking, but whether you have 4 or 5 lug wheels, the offset isn't effected. A 4 lug +35 wheel of the same width and design as a 5 lug will still be a +35 offset.

Not sure if a 17x8 +35 FN01RC will clear Z-brakes, but that should be easy enough to find out with a search. Both the FN01RC and Z32 brakes are popular items so I'm sure there's something here in the Wheel/Tire/Suspension forum about FN01RC's clearing Z brakes.

Your setup should make rotating your tires interesting.

This question is kind of out of the blue but, why would you do a 5 lug conversion and roll on FN's, you can get those same wheels in those sizes in four lug. If you want go to the SPL website and their you will see what lug patterns come in what sizes, Although I don't really know if thats what your asking?

The FN01RC comes in plenty of 'good' sizes in 5 lug. But the biggest 4 lug size was 17x8 +35mm. Now thats a decent size for a 240sx, but many people wanted something wider. Thats where SPLParts came in. They had 5Zigen make 17x9 +20mm in 4 lug. To be honest, I'm not sure if these are still available, but SPL could tell you.

Now if youre gonna run 17x9 +35mm on the rear, most folks would suggest 17x8 +35 for the front. That size is available in both 4 and 5 lug. BUt I think its kinda strange to keep 4 lug in front and have 5 lug out back.

Bottom line, 17x8 +35mm should work for you up front, in either 4 or 5 lug.

hey guys, thanks for the reply, but like i said i would be doing the 5 lug conversion up in front but just wanted to know what it would be if i kept the front 4 lug. But just to let you guys know i didnt choose this set up, i got 2 of the wheels for free, other wise i would of waited liked planned and gotten the 5 lug all the way around and gotten the wheels that i really wanted...... 57 pros. again thanks.
