i was racing my 1992 240sx fastback (92k miles one it) and after 4th gear (5spd car) all my dummy lights turned on (including my parking break) then when i stoped it kinda felt like i lost power stearing (it felt like i was turning my car in loose sand but it was on pavment) i turned off the car and then turned it back on and went fine What could have been the problem?

Loose battery connection?
You're saying it's like when you stall and all the lights turn on and the power steering/air conditioning goes dead?
If so it sounds like a battery issue to me, something loose since it turned right back on. Doubt it's the alternator because since it did turn back on, it was charged, and since it was charged the alternator was working.
Try unhooking the battery terminals and going over then with a wire brush to make them shine again, then rehook the terminal wires up tight.

nope car was still running i was about at 95-105 mph then the stuff when crazy car did not smoke or anything my radio was not on so i donno if its the batt it just cared the **** outta me. but yes car was still running when the lights when on. and i could still drive, only i had to fight the wheel to turn. right after i turned i turned off the car then 30seconds later turned it back on and took off (i only turned it back on with hope, cops were down the other side of street) oh some people told me at work (i work with the public) that it could have been a belt? it could not handle the speed? but i told him i had the car way faster then that on the highway. oh well thanks for tryin to help me out i will keep lookin back for responces thanks again guys!
