Alright, so today was just a calm average day for me, wake up go for a run, take my dog to the dog park, then lunch!

So i had just dropped my dog off at home and i was headed to lunch. So im driving down my street following this big a** dodge pickup which is following a mercedes sedan.

Theres a little old lady driving the pickup, shes riding the mercedes a** so he hits his brakes trying to get her to back off. He does this several times, so once we come to a stop light he hits the brakes. She slams on her brakes and so do i. Then the lady throws her big truck in reverse and guns it!! Driving up onto my hood!!!! DUMB b****!!!

So we pull into a parking lot next to the wreck site, were exchanging info etc. Then the cops show up, evidently the mercedes driver had called them. They come and talk to both of us, i turn around and see that the lady is getting a sobriety test, so im like huh? While shes getting her test the other officer come over to me and says that shes just WASTED. They arrest her and impound her truck.

She only had minor scratches on her bumper and her mudflap got torn off. While my car was hurtin, my hood is mangled, my passenger headlight is torn apart, and my front bumper is all warped. i dont have many pictures at the time but i have a couple from my phone, they dont look as bad as they really are. but ill post up better pics later.

HAHA sound like my friends mom. I would be happy if i were up. Ur car looks rattlecanned and that is an easy fix. Plus when you get an estimate for the damage you will have some bank.

yeah it is rattlecanned, i just got all the claim stuff taken care of and her insurance dude is calling me monday. its only gonna take a new headlight housing and hood, maybe a bumper to have it all fixed. so ima try to get the money from the insurance and fix it myself. maybe get some coils and some other stuff towards my ka-t! but it just kinda bites, i hate it when my car gets hit, or in this case, driven ontop of! but money in the bank and an easy fix is also good!

Damn. f***ing drunk drivers man. I hate them...reminds me of my father. He's never gotten into an accident but f***ing s*** has he gotten close. f***er got pretty drunk at dinner (we were at Chilis or something I can't really remember). We left in separate cars because well...we obviously arrived there in separate cars. He drove off in his Jeep and we pulled up behind him at a stop sign waiting to get onto a major 3 lane road. He f***ing guns it across into the left turn lane, about a hundred feet away from oncoming traffic. f***ing idiot he can be sometimes. This is why I will never drink and drive.

dang, rico man im glad mine wasnt as bad as yours.... id probably break down and cry myself to sleep every night. right now im looking at a silvia conversion because i doubt theyre gonna wanna fix it. im dealing with all the adjusters tomorrow and insurance BS soo tomorrow will come to tell whats gonna happen to my baby.

either silvia conversion... OORRR......fix it and put the rest into the motor and suspension?

not sure yet, but silvia is lookin pretty good right now to me

It sucked, but the fact that I walked away with just a stiff neck is a testament to the car. Besides, I got a clean shell from a buddy for free and swapped my CA and goodies over. Again, glad you are ok and the car sounds like it will be the better for the bump.
