I just thought it was about time I tried to make a build thread since everyone else had one. :dblthumb:

It all started on the 17th of August in 2011. ;)

Bought her from Nissan Used. She had 32,xxx on her. Altima Coupe 3.5 SE
Image

Decided I want to go for the stance and flush look so I ordered some D2 RS CoilOvers.
Image

This was the outcome. Didn't lower the rear all that much cause I didn't want to rub.
Image

I had my wheels for awhile but I never had tires. :P The specs are 18x9.5 +12 all around wrapped in 235's
Image

They're going for a little ride to the shop ;)
Image

They are on :) and she's getting a fresh wax. :)
Image

The Final Outcome. :)
Image

Decided I wanted to paint the wheels cause I didn't like my wheels at night cause they didn't pop out. :)
Image
Another view. :)
Image

Not completely done with her yet. Still gonna get a Stillen front splitter, exhaust, and a carbonfiber trunk. Then I will be done. :)

Looks good bro! I thought 18s would look small on your car but they actually came out perfect. You didn't have to pull your fenders correct?

Also, no plans for the front end? (c-mod/Stillen fascia)

CF trunk if you're interested: http://www.ebay.com/itm/251149461452?ss ... 1555.l2649

Looks great! Completely my favorite color combo of car/wheels. ;)

Perfect stance IMO! Red lugs set it off nicely.

Yeah I pulled them, just a little though not a lot. but I'm going to go with a c-mod whenever I save up money for it. But i'm considering about that trunk. I'm just a broke college student lol

I agree, the 18's look like my 19s. Tire size witchcraft lol.

I didn't think you would've needed to pull either

Yep, only 18s. I think the tires are what makes it look bigger. haha Whenever I decide to go with new wheels, Im gonna go with 19's. But im in love with your car. I've actually been looking at that same front bumper. it reminds me of a 350z.

so CLEAN!!
you beat me to it! I had planned to get some flat black te37 reps (varrstoens=broke college student  ) but in 19's and with blue lugnuts.

as mentioned above, was pulling your fenders necessary with +12??? or just more of a preventative measure??

I honestly don't think it is necessary with 18s. I mean everyone has a different setup but with 18s and a slight tire stretch you can pull it off easily. Rolling the fenders is a must tho.

If you were to see the car in person, you would see why i needed to roll my fenders. lol there is barely, i mean barely any wheel gap. I'm sitting at -4 camber and im still rubbing the fender. before i fixed it, I was probably sitting at -6. My fronts rub like crazy though.

Holy cow -4 at that ride height? I wonder what your toe is looking like lol. Usually the lower you go, the more negative your camber gets (keeping toe in spec of course). I was at -3.5 average and varied between -3.3 and -3.9.

Are you running 35 or 40 series? I bet running a lower profile or going with a narrower tire would solve your rubbing problem. And increasing your dampening would help too.

Still can't believe you were at -6 before adjustments lol. I wonder if the equipment was setup wrong or if the tech messed up. Or did you adjust your camber yourself for clearance prior to alignment?

Yea now that I think about it, your fronts must rub like a mofo lol. The tires look beefy as hell, I'm guessing 235/40.

My toe is fine. Got it fixed. I'm running 40. Yeah it was at -6 cause i thought it was get to atleast -3.5 or someone around there but was way worse lol. but my camber arms are damn near stock and its sitting at -4. it's fine with me though. lol I dont drive a whole lot so i'm not going to go through tires like crazy like everybody says. it's honestly the toe that f*** it up the most.

they dont rub that bad. only when im turning into an inclined driveway or whatever. but yeah 235/40's.

235/35 would definitely give you some clearance and lessen the rubbing. At -4 degrees camber you will go through tires like crazy, that can't be helped lol. It's still sitting pretty though, I like it

Appreciate it. I'll probably replace them a few years from now. lol I put 5,000 miles on my car in a year. lol Don't do a lot of driving.
