Done with the KA-T!!

Just giving you guys a heads up. In May, I'm selling my car. Everything is included and all the turbo parts has under 5k miles. My friend is suppose to buy it in May, but if he doesn't. It will be up for 6500 obo. I was overseas, and currently overseas again, that's why the setup has under 5k miles. Bad thing is the piston rings are going out and I really don't feel like replacing the engine again. It spits oil under WOT. I manage at 13.2 with that happening, lol. It does it at the valev cover vent. So a oil catch can with be a temporary fix if you plan on flooring it. But normal driving and it doesn't do it. Other bad thing is the radiator support. I hit a curb awhile back and it cracked the lower brace bar. I was going about 20 mph. I have a Nismo power brace that replaces that. Frame is straight and I had it checked out at a body shop. $300 to align the holes with the bolts on the radiator support. I might end up parting it out if i can't get it for about 6.5. It's a 96 and i'm moving back to AZ soon, so emissions in that state sucks! Yea guys, this car has been a huge money pit for me. Plus I don't have the $$ or time to be going without a car any more. I dumped about 8K into the car already. Brand new viper alarm just installed and alot of other random parts. Yea guys, I want a s2k, lol. This is my second setup and I went all out! I can ensure you all the parts are quality top of the line. If i part out and sell the car for 2 grand, than it will run me the same price. So I am losing alot of $$ out of this car!

That's awesome you got your car running. Yea, I wanted to get a built block when I got back, but i don't want to deal with the obd2. Plus I EAS next year and I really need to start saving money. I wasn't going to sell it untill my friend offered to buy it from me. So I'm just listing it up just in case he changes his mind in May. Plus I need to start thinking about my future, lol. It spits oil out. It doesn't smoke or spit oil out when i'm driving normal though. See what happens when you buy a junkyard engine! I have a friend that knows a guy with 4 ka's lying around that I could pick up for nothing.

I have spare parts lying around that I'm throwing in too. Like a cometic headgaskit, s13 cams, extra taillights. I have Kouki Tails. And a 1000 watt kenwood amp with a 12 inch sony sub. I rather just get rid of it has a whole because it will be a PITA parting out every single lil thing, lol. It was at my friends house, but he's putting back in the mals parking lot for me. New rear tires too. But I can't do anything untill May. So this is just a heads up.

hook me up man I want a spare motor and out here in washington there is alot of people looking for ka24de's! I want those kouki tails and your suspension. I can send u the stock stuff to throw back in. I have a junkyard motor it is working pretty good! + mine is obd 1 I got lucky. There is a guy in avi at v-22 that is a 240 guy his name is corkle he has a s13 coupe u outta try and find him he would prob buy it if your deal falls through

I will see. But it will have to wait untill May. It's hard doing anything if your not home with your car, lol. But I will look for the Avi guy if my friend changes his mind. Alot could happen in 2 months. About the spare KA, I won't know till I talk to the guy when I'm home.
