Sounds so weird, no more high school, ever, in my life. This sucks, now I have to actually start my life and crap. Man I dont know what I want to do with my life!!!! Bah, anyway, I graduate the 22nd of May, and while its great to be out of school, its also kinda sad :/ Wish me luck while I begin my ADULT life. *sighs*

Shoulda joined the Army, Marines, Navy, or Air Force if you didn't know what you wanted to do. On a lighter note, I am done with school on the 20th. Graduate the 23rd.

Haha, welcome to college general ed classes.

Congrats, I've been out 3 yrs and still miss some things about HS, things like the easy work and easy manipulation of the system :pface College isn't so easy to skate by, especially in something like Architecture :(

Just because I'm not 100% sure of what I want to do for the rest of my life doesn't mean I should join some branch of the military just as a way out.

I had a 2 hour long meeting with the Marine Corps a couple weeks ago. I am well aware off all of my options. I respect everyone more than they will ever know for going into service, but it just isn't my thing. Not now at least.

Not until the draft sets in again (remember, they're considering it now).

I'm glad I'm in college.

Man, I still have a year to go and am already scared about the whole "all growed up" change that comes with graduation. I've been thinking about attending Butte college (in CA, near Chico) and taking all their auto classes, become ASE certified, and then, well, I have no clue what do do after that! Maybe I'll just win a ultimabuganeptatrizzilion dollars in the state lottery and get laid by some hot chick...

No, wait. Make that two hot chicks.

I would make it, but the fact of dispising every millisecond I was there would be the part that got me.

I would be one of those that goes crazy because of all the bombs and stuff

For me, it's not just the mental part I would despise, but the physical part as well. I would not be up to the physical demands that being a soldier requires. That, and the strict form of living. Getting up at the butt-crack of dawn, have a perfectly groomed bed, follow demanding orders perfectly from sun-up 'til sun-down. But man, I don't even want to think about the bombs and stuff...

Haha, and you thought you were out of high school. :D

Community College can really mess with you because lots (note: not all) of the people that go there really won't go on to higher education after it. While a Associates Degree is better than a high school diploma, it is not the same as a 4 year degree. My advice to you (I know you didn't ask for it but take my word for it), take CC seriously and get through it in 2 years and then move on to the 4 year college. I have friends who are going to be beginning their 4th year in CC and they are quickly running out of options. I also have friends who took it seriously and got into good universities afterwards and have bright futures. It will probably feel like a continuation of high school (I tried taking a CC class and dropped it because I couldn't stand the idiocy) at times, but push your way through and you'll be ok. Best of luck!
