Test pipe does give high end power, but unless you don't care about the raspy noise then okay. Test pipe makes werid extra noise in the exhaust.

Just a thought

when i put on my SSAC n1 dual knock off, i gutting my cat, and it sounded amazing on the stock header. i loved it.

when i put on my DC sports header, i immediately hated the sound. that gave me some raspiness i could live without.

so i can see where youre coming from, but what else do you have for your exhasut system?

DJ I love your avatar. mmm. I also like how you've keep't away from boost, my next project is an all motor civic.

I had Hotshot headers, home made test pipe 3" and 3" RS*R ExMagII exhaust, and it sounded great until it got above 4k, then it was ricey high pitched nastyness.

I have OBX header, 3 inch test pipe, and Megan Racing Drift Spec catback.

That is a very good exhaust for the price and quality. I had a 2.5 inch catback and my setup is a lot faster!

Why all motor? The KA is a very good motor and it comes down to how much power you want or USEABLE power. Plus I have a 9 second motorcycle and it can outhandle any super sport cars so why do I care?

Thanks for reading!

i say stick wit ur exhaust for nowgo to junkyard, grab a cat, gut the hell out of it, and see how it sounds, if its good, keep it or put on the straight pipe, if not return S-Pipe and trash the extra cat

just get the resonated test pipes off ebay or a 2.5" universal cat off summit racing. Either way, it will cost you around $50, and prevent that nasty honduh sound, lol!!

i started my ka with open hotshot headers yesterday! now thats loud!!!!

im running the full turbo exhaust from my SR on the ka for this winter and i hate the sound.... the CATCO 3" cat is gutted (it broke) and the circuitsport catback is 3" all the way. i have the greddy airnex filter from my sr on the stock intake pipe and the KA is anoyingly loud.

basicly,........ I MISS MY SR20!
