This was the scene in a local parking lot. For a car that hasn't been made in 6 years, I sure do see a lot of 'em. Especially in a town that's never had an Infiiti dealership.

Nice! There's only like three or four QX4s in my town that I've seen. We don't have an infiniti dealership either.

I see at least 4 driving every day, sometimes upwards of ten and they are almost always 1999 or 1999.5. Nearest dealership is 25 miles out, not too bad i guess.

I've had people at work and random people as well just come up to me and inquire if I'd be willing to sell my truck. It's kinda odd. Even the salespeople at the dealership say that they never last long on the lot. And in the winter, good luck finding one for sale in the Midwest.

It has to be that most luxury SUVs are huge, they look like trucks for women, or are not real 4WD. Looks like it's an underserved market. I hope Infiniti makes a QX4 again someday based on the Pathfinder.

There's plans to revive the QX4, but it doesn't sound good. They said it will be bigger and for soccer moms.

I pulled into the carwash a few months ago and there was a pathfinder and w QX4s in front of me. I think I still have the pic on my phone.

And if you look closely in the side mirror you will see another pathfinder leaving the lot.

I will have to find the pic sometime.

As time goes on, I honestly believe that the reputation of the R50 Pathy and QX4 will continue to rise. It's obvious that Nissan hit a home run with this vehicle and platform, and it will go down in automotive history as a winner. These things will stand the test of time, both from an engineering point of view, and from a style perspective.

man you buff, wax, detail etc, these pathies and qx4's, and they look better or just as good as new cars on the road.
