I fail to see the problem here... Perhaps someone can educate me.

Since when is it a crime to fail to provide "mitigating circumstances" when reporting a news story?

Mitigating circumstances?

My mitigation of the problem involves a fence with guard towers and miniguns. Kind of like the Berlin wall. When we suffer another 9/11 like event, then this country will understand the importance of a secure border. Illegal immigrants using our medical facilities is a small, albeit expensive problem. It is the security issues I worry about.

Right. Mitigating.

In other words, what's the problem here? Why are these groups pissed at Couric and the station?

Because she didn't sugarcoat the story? Because they made an example of one person?

Is there anything INACCURATE about the reporting? If so, they have a case. If not, then STFU and quit whining.

For once her reporting was exactly correct. This is something the MSM have avoided for quite some time; reporting the news without a biased angle.

For Couric herself, all I gotta say is eventually every squirrel will find a nut

Hell I don't find this offensive, its the truth.I've witnessed anchoring multiple times in my life with my mother working in a hospital and it is a serious problem but I can't help but think it reminds me of rich US citizens who have children in Mexico so that they can own large land sums for cheap... land in the child's name.

What I dislike is the targeting by LEO's, general racism from citizens who seemy race and me as something to be "kicked out" to solve the problem. And I understand a good amount of criminals come over from Mexico and continue the crime spree here in the US.. but then again how often am I in TJ or Ensenada that I find US citizens being arrested for driving drunk because they think they can pay off just any Federali, or when they hit and kill a pedestrian with a vehicle and treat the situation as if the human life was a dogs.

I've lived in both countries, and they both have some serious issues relating to each other but hopefully if the new President in Mexico can start some up some more work in Mexico we should see less illegals.. but I'm doubtful being the son of an illegal.
