Wrong idea. All young drivers are not immediately aware of the dangers that lie just on the other side of stupidity.

A car does not just happen upon the instance pictured. Bad driving did. Maybe the truck driver was at fault?

Yeah me too. But damn...thats pretty disheartening. Thank god my accident was alone, and the S13 held up well enough that I could walk out and and kick it;).

I don't agree SmithSR. People stereotype young drivers badly when it comes to these sort of things. You are just as likely as any 16 year old to get into an accident. It's all about how you drive. A 40 year old that is crazy behind the wheel of a corvette is much more likely to get in a fatal accident than a 16 year old girl who drives the speed limit all the time. Not all young drivers are bad, I wouldn't even say most. I would say some. Don't fall into the stereotypes.

You miss the point!

Am I as likely to get into AN accident? sure, just as likely as the next motorist.

Am I as likely to get into THAT accident? Hell no! Not unless the truck driver is at fault.

People stereotype young drivers when it's young drivers who're offing themselves in record numbers.

No he is right. Young people are bad dirvers. At my school there are a bunch of riced out cars, and they all love to speed in the parking lot to show off. I've seen 5 car accidents there this semester. Almost been in a few of them. Plus I can learn from myself, when I was their age I did the same crap they did but eventualy I got into an accident all by myself and I learned my lesson.

Smith knows it isnt a stereo type. it is fact that young drivers are most likey to die in a car crash.

Those were some bad pics.

We had 5 teens die in a police chase in a stolen car. And the family wanted to blame the cops for their kids having no reguard for human life or the respect for the property they stole.

I have only been driving for 5 months or so, and I try to stay around the speed limit, I don't do stupid ****. The only way I see myself getting into an accident is from someone elses stupid mistake
